Prestbury Cof E Primary School has purchased new lap tops thanks to generous donation from the Prestbury Village Hall.
The charitable trust donated £8000, enabling the school to buy sixteen laptops and a special charging cabinet.
Three of the Village Hall trustees, Norman Moffitt, David Hine and Thelma Jackson, visited the school recently to see some of the children using the lap tops for creative art.
Deputy Head teacher Barbara Hurrell, said "We are extremely grateful to Prestbury Village Hall for their very generous donation of £8000 which allowed us to buy a set of 16 laptops and a secure laptop trolley.
"This system gives us the opportunity to teach ICT across all curriculum subjects in the children's own classrooms. Additionally it provides greater flexibility in teaching and learning to help children develop the essential ICT skills they need."
Prestbury Village Hall uses income from lettings to maintain and heat the hall, then any surplus funds are used by the trustees to help young people in the local area.
David Hine, trustee at Prestbury Village Hall, explained "The Village Hall trustees are charged with making a balance of prudently managing the Village Hall finances and at the same time helping our young people further their social, religious and physical education."
In addiiton to the £8000 donated to Prestbury CofE Primary School, smaller donations were made to the Prestbury Youth Pantomime Association and the recently formed 1st Prestbury Scout Group. Last year the trust helped Bollinbrook C of E Primary school and the guides.
